| Introduction | Founded in 1964, Concentric: Literary and Cultural Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published two times per year by the Department of English at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan. Concentric is devoted to offering innovative perspectives on literary and cultural issues and advancing the transcultural exchange of ideas. While we are committed to bringing Asian-based scholarship to the world academic community, we welcome original contributions from diverse national and cultural backgrounds. Concentric is currently indexed in Arts and Humanities Citation Index, EBSCOhost, MLA International Bibliography, Scopus, PerioPath: Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature, and Taiwan Humanities Citation Index. Paid or institutional access to the contents of the journal is available through Airiti Library and HyRead. Published articles are also freely available on this website. |
